Queensland may see a major allocation in the nationwide infrastructure with reports of a potential a billion dollar boost to the CopperString project in the upcoming financial plan. The CopperString project is a proposed electricity transmission that would run from Mount Isa to Townsville, offering much-needed transmission capacity for the state.
